The Tree Is Finally Up!

Yup! I finally had Todd drag the tree and the box of decorations upstairs. I've spent the afternoon putting up, fluffing, and decorating the tree. Like many of us my tree is an eclectic one. I don't actually put up a lot of glass ornaments.

Why? Do you ask? I'm sure this picture will tell all!

Yesterday between being in bed with yet another migraine I did get in a few hours on Christmas Elf Fairy. I'm getting ready to settle down and work on her some more.

Not since the first Christmas with our cat has he bothered with our tree! But there was one Christmas long ago where my first son brought the tree down twice, lol!

Your tree looks great! We didn't put up many glass ornaments this year either in case the puppy got too curious but so far we've had good luck. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Loved the picture of the tree, and its visitor, LOL. I can certainly see why breakable ornaments might not be the best of ideas. :)

Christmas Elf is looking so pretty, I love her colors.

Your tree is gorgeous. I can completely understand your lack of glass ornaments with a little crittter like kitty on the prowl.

Christmas Fairy is stunning. I loved when I worked on mine and can boast it is one of my 4 finishes for the year.

Merry Christmas Dani! Your tree looks great. I laughed when I saw Hunter peeking out. He makes a great ornament! We've been so lucky in that none of our cats have climbed our tree.
Christmas Fairy looks fantastic! Hope we can get together in the near future for another SAL.
